Pandora Day 2

All of Pandora awoke with a start at the loss of Norm Spellman, a friend to the Na'vi and a marine to the humans. Why he died, nobody knew. But there was a sinking suspicion in everyone's stomach that the knife wounds in his throat and chest were redolent of murder.

No suprise in the NK.  The most cleared villa was offed, though the wolves did not go after the only player who has claimed special, HB.  So I don't know if the wolves are leveling the town, HB is a wolf, or they just went after the cleared player. 

I will say that HB was right about me.  I am all about clearing villagers.  It is more important (imho) than finding wolves.  The end game is all about clear villas.

I did work to clear IGN when he stated his name and I worked hard at looking at HB and BEG to try to determine if they were helping the town or not.

My spidey sense is still tingling about HB, but I'll give her another pass today as a claimed special.

I cannot BELIEVE I managed to miss four days worth of discussion… I’ll step up and try to be as active as possible during the rest of the game.

I have seen the movie.

Well, I’ll say it now, I’m all for the name reveal, saying we have a good base on the names of who may or may not be wolves/Villagers. I think IGN’s post 103 has it down.

My current biggest suspects are BEG and HB. Their starting few posts seemed off, and once again, the whole “I give you my word” thing came back into play. It seemed really off to me that BEG, at that, left her alone… however, when they did this before, HB didn’t turn out a wolf, and neither did BEG. Not to say she did, because I’m bad at picking up on these things, but somewhere, she may have used one of her hidden signals she’s known to use (Example being last game). HB’s also given off a special claim, but without knowing exactly what it is, we can’t really know if it’s true or not, because no one can counterclaim an unnamed special.

LH is the only person I’m relatively clear on being a villager. I can’t see much wrong with his play style. As far as BP and Alex go, I’m not quite sure. All I can say is BP’s been a little quiet considering his normal play style. Aside from that, I’m not picking up much else.

I don't do real life discussions on this game as far as where you've been, what you've been up to etc. All that has no bearing on the game.

However, I think you do owe the town some answers. Like, did you know the game started? Did you get your PM? Did you check in to read at all on Day 1 and just not post? What's the story?

And finally, do you understand why we might be suspicious of you since you were absent on D1, then suddenly show up right at the start of Day 2?

I do understand that You'd all be suspicious, and Yes. I knew the game started. I was informed a day after it began, I believe with a message from the mod, as a reminder. Honestly, other stuff came up and I forgot entirely about it. I read over Day 1 last night, and didn't manage to read anything else beforehand. I apologize for my absense, and it's perfectly fine if people suspect me for such a thing. Low posting is not an option here, as we've said before.

As for posting right out the door on day one, after I remembered the day had started, I immediately wanted you all to know I was still around, and hadn't crapped out after the sign-up. I didn't want to just drop out of the game suddenly due to lack of participation. As I stated previously, I intend to keep up from now on, and try as hard as I can not to leave dead space and be active.

I'm ok with a name reveal today.  I don't think wolves could do much coordinating last night except to say that they'll claim late.  If they claim anyone on the top names list, there's a chance that they'll be a duplicate claim.  As I think about it, they may be ok with a duplicate claim because we'll spend the day arguing about that and not clearing villas/finding other wolves.

There was just too much standing up for HB going on on BEG's part.  Like she was working too hard to clear her.  And then HB came out with a special hint which BEG chalked up to being seer cover.  (A term and role I don't think I've heard before.)  Almost as if she knows HB is town because she, BEG, isn't.

As for Bobby, I have my reasons.  Which will be made clear soon enough.

WOW....you're first post of the game, and very wolfy.  Have you been in the shadows the whole time?

No.....I know she is town, because she gave her word....period.  Last time we talked about that, everyone had a fit, so I don't want to get into that again.

You can lynch me if you want to prove it, but I'm not budging from HB....she's 100% villa......just cause I know HB....no other reason.

I sure wish I had a "flight plan" on Pariah.........please explain why he is clear.  He missed the entire first day, and he seems to forget alot.....like he forgot about the game, after he was given a reminder...and then, he read over day one "last night" and still didn't post.

I want to know if he read day 1, before the end of the day.  That proves that he was online, read day 1, and "chose" not to post.......or, did he read Day 1, while we were in the night phase, and had to wait until day 2 to post.

Hey all.  Put me in the "never seen it/don't know a thing about it" category. 
Now.... I'm never a fan of just plunking down votes, just to see what happens.  So, having said that, I'll go with the usual D1 mantra.  I am in favor of Lynching and not in favor of any reveals unless it becomes necessary via a lynch vote.by the way: FOS: HB AND BEG for restarting the cat-fight from last game.  THIS time, it feels "fishy"..... almost planned.  Yes I know they haven't met as wolves yet, but if they were informed via role PM that they're on the Wolf Team, those two know each other inside and out and they could know without even discussing, how to play off each other.  Just sayin'..... That's how it looks at this VERY early stage, to me

I'm all for making wolves think on their feet, and totally willing to give my character name. I'm interested to see what the town says though.

Having not seen the movie, I was not aware there aren't many characters. And from reading the plot on wikipedia, it didn't appear Norman Spellman was a very high-profile character. Alex says it's a main character, so OK. I'm starting to feel better about this.
