Well, guys, what can I say?

After nearly three years of playing werewolf on this site, I'm calling it quits.

There's no particular reason, and it's nobody's fault. I just think it's time to move on. Life gets busier, more responsibilities come to the 9-5, etc. And when I play a game of werewolf, I invest so much time and thought into it, I just can't sustain it. Werewolf is certainly addicting, and there are plenty more things I could be doing than sitting in a staff meeting trying to sort out a role claim in my head.

To sum it up, my favorite diversion has become an unneeded distraction. 

I was going to count up my record, but after realizing I've played or modded nearly 40 games on this site, I thought it would take too much time. Suffice it to say, I lost more than I won. And for every great moment, there were several bad ones.

Most people who hang up the werewolf fangs just vanish without a trace. I figure that I've made enough noise on here that taking that route would be a disservice. Plus, you guys wouldn't let me get away with it.

I hope the site survives and thrives. Make an effort to bring more people aboard. I'll keep my username and maybe pop in every once in awhile, but I don't intend for this to turn into a Brett Favre situation.

What?  No way!  Who am I gonna argue with now?  Don't leave altogether.....just play every other game or something. 

I can understand about putting alot of time and thought into the game, and I understand the distraction part totally.

BEG, I thought about playing only sparingly or being much less active in games than I tend to be. But I just don't think it's possible. Ryan/Spank/Rygel sent me a note saying the same thing. Seems you're either all in or all out in this game.

I agree... you're either all in or all out on a game.  That's why I tend to not actually play as much these days.  I don't have time or patience to be ALL IN that much.

I'll miss you Bobby.  Your elaborate plans and bizarre strategies will be missed.  I know we've been wolves together several times and that's when you were the most treacherous!  It was so fun!!!!!

Sorry I kind of went MIA too...life got way to busy for me to be worrying out Werewolf!

Anyway...

Jay's (Bobbyplump's) bday is Mon, March 29.  Anyone interested in coming over Sat night to play games, eat food, etc. is welcome to come out.  Let me know!
